Indosat Blackberry Plans

ORLANDO, KOMPAS.com -
Selama ini, sebagian konsumen kesulitan mengelola langganan BlackBerry karena harus menghapalkan shortcode (nomor pendek) setiap operator atau layanan customer service.

Nah, dalam waktu dekat, pengguna BlackBerry akan lebih mudah memantau layanan yang dipakainya lewat aplikasi. Indosat akan menjadi operator pertama di Indonesia dan ketiga di dunia yang menerapkan hal tersebut.

Aplikasi terbaru untuk pengguna BlackBerry itu diluncurkan pada acara BlackBerry World

2012 di Orlando, Florida, Rabu (2/5/2012).

Dengan aplikasi ini, pelanggan dapat memilih layanan, melakukan aktivasi, atau memperpanjang layanan BlackBerry.

"Peluncuran aplikasi terbaru ini memperlihatkan apresiasi kami kepada konsumen loyal BlackBerry yang telah memberikan saran bahwa aplikasi tersebut akan sangat berguna," ujar Presiden Direktur dan CEO Indosat, Harry Sasongko.

Aplikasi tersebut dapat digunakan konsumen prabayar dan pascabayar dan berjalan pada semua smartphone BlackBerry dengan sistem operasi BlackBerry OS 5.0 atau yang lebih tinggi.

Selain itu, untuk menyediakan layanan konektivitas, para konsumen BlackBerry akan dapat mengakses informasi detail mengenai rencana dan harga layanan BlackBerry, periode masa aktif yang mereka dapat, saldo kredit bagi pelanggan prabayar, total penggunaan untuk para konsumen pascabayar, dan promo khusus.

Kepala Divisi Mobile Device Indosat, Benny Hutagalung, mengatakan, bahwa aplikasi tersebut sudah aktif sejak 1 Mei lalu, tetapi baru akan diperkenalkan kepada publik pada 9 Mei mendatang.

"Untuk saat ini, layanan baru tersedia dalam Bahasa Inggris. Namun, saat diluncurkan pekan depan, aplikasi tersebut sudah menggunakan Bahsa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris," jelas Benny.
